Outgoing President Goodluck Jonathan, Incoming President, Mohammadu Buhari |
The Bible says in the book of
Proverb that the plans of man are in his heart, but the LORD establishes it. We
thank God that most of the things that the devil planned for Nigeria were
thwarted by the Almighty God; the many things that were seen in the spirit
realm concerning Nigeria were not illusions, but through prayers these
negatives became positives! We as a people give glory to God. This again is to
conform that Nigeria, as a nation, is in God’s plan for the end time.
Today, we have a new President Mohammadu
Buhari, and Vice-President, Yemi Osinbanjo at the helms of the nation’s
affairs. They need prayers to bring that much needed glory to Nigeria. The duo
is inheriting an economy that is broke due to several factors which are not
local, but international. Corruption has been so entrenched in the social
fabric of the Nigerian society that cleaning it up needs pulling down of wicked
altars. It will not be an easy task!
What Nigerians and Africans should
learn from the democratic transition is a keyword, which should reverberate in
the hearts of peace lovers, “ No Nigerian
blood is worth the ambition of any politician “ a major statement by former
President Goodluck Jonathan. The comforting statement from President Mohammadu
Buhari is that he is “for everybody and
not for anybody “, a defining message to the APC cabal that might want to
recover their individual investments at the expense of the state. May God give
him good health to stare the ship to the end. Amen. Congratulations to all
Nigerians irrespective of political party affiliation.
